“Can you believe it's February already?! 2013 is flying by - it must be because we've been busy creating enough Beefeater 24 to keep up with demand!
This week's cocktail is the Ginjamboa, created by Diogo Quinaz, the National Finalist for Portugal in our Global Bartender Competition.
60ml Beefeater 24
60ml Fresh Grapefruit Juice
20ml Ginger and Honey Tea (created using equal parts of fresh ginger and honey with boiling water).
Grate the ginger into a tea cup, add an equal amount of honey and pour boiling water over. Allow to cool.
When cooled, strain 20ml of the ginger and honey mixture into a cocktail shaker, add the grapefruit juice and Beefeater 24. Shake over ice and double strain into a highball glass with ice.
Garnish with a grapefruit wheel and a spring of mint.”
